American Meetings approached Lightship with an idea to produce an opening video for a major meeting they were producing. The initial concept was to spoof Anthony Bourdain’s “Parts Unknown” with the CEO playing Anthony traveling around the world to touch base with various team members. Lightship developed the concept into reality by shooting him in various locations locally that would serve as a pub in London, an outdoor cafe in Bogota and a hotel bar in Moscow. An animated opening set the stage for the CEO being on location around the world by shooting in various costumes on our green screen stage and then compositing with stock footage and animated graphics. The result brought a healthy dose of humor together with key brand messages to create a highly successful meeting opener.
